Jackson's Chicken was great! We had the COB, with slaw and tots. Everything was freshly made to order. The COB sauce was house-made and tasty. I added the jalapenos on the sandwich which made it even better. The building is old and needs work but the tables and chairs were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. The staff told us they were moving to a new location since their current building was needing so much repair. I highly recommend the COB sandwich (chicken on bread). The chicken was juicy and the breading was crunchy. It was perfect!
Really good! The chicken sandwich and slaw hit the spot. Our first time to try. Passing through.
Chicken is cooked perfectly! We had chicken strips, and the spicy chicken sandwich! The spicy sauce was delicious also! The desserts all looked amazing, but I chose the Banana pie!
Members of our "church family" suggested my husband and I visit Jackson's Station and try their fried chicken (my husband's favorite). The food there is the BEST! They DO make the best fried chicken. I had their chicken salad sandwich and it's the best I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot of chicken salad over the years). The staff there are SO friendly and make you feel right at home. We are DEFINITELY coming back's!!!
Our 1st time eating there and we're glad we went. The food is home cooked and delicious.
We loved the food, the staff and atmosphere! We were on a road trip in search of home cooking and boy did we find it here! Best collard greens I've ever had! Their Fried chicken is outstanding as well!! Definitely worth the jaunt off the beaten path!
We were passing through Camden and decided to give Jackson's Station a try, and I'm glad we did. The novelty of the restaurant being a repurposed old-time gas station appealed to me because as a teen, I worked in a very similar gas station. Many of the original elements of the station had been preserved including the roll-up bay doors that to my amazement, still roll up. The woman at the counter recommended the chicken sandwich with the guarantee that if we didn't like it, we could have our money back or get anything else instead. We decided to give it a try, and it was very good. The sauce that is used is something like a tarter sauce but a little sweeter, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We had planned to get a dessert, but were too full after the sandwich to eat it. The staff was nice and friendly. Overall this was a very good experience and if I am ever in Camden again, I will make it a point to stop by and save room for some of that wonderful looking cheesecake.
